Objectives of the course
To train delegates about sanitising and disinfection procedures and make them aware of the available PPE they will need to protect themselves and their clients.
Trainees will learn how to dispose of hazardous waste, protect themselves from bio hazards and many of the legal requirements of dealing with severe infection control environments. This could be schools with infections, hospitals (particularly private ones), vets, doctors and dental surgeries, ambulances, taxis, hotel rooms, the list is endless.
This course is for anyone with the right temperament and disposition to treat this kind of work seriously and with compassion and wanting to understand what is involved in opening up this new and profitable service in their business.
There will naturally be an increased focus on Covid-19.
Syllabus
NHS protocols for infection control
Dispelling myths. COVID 19 issues, A.T.P.
PPE / COSHH/ Fogging/ Deep cleaning.
Bio Hazard / Hazardous waste.

N.B. This course is a live online classroom event. Trainees will need an email address to receive the login code, a computer, internet connection and register with Zoom (online meeting programme).
