WoolSafe is a proud sponsor of IICRC courses. This WoolSafe version of the IICRC UFT class includes elements of the WoolSafe Fibre Care Specialist Course and references WoolSafe WS1000 and WS2000 standards in addition to the IICRC S300.

A selection of video clips is used to replace demonstrations that would otherwise take place in a face to face classroom setting or the three-day “hands-on” version of the course.

Please note this course is better suited for those who have already experienced some carpet or upholstery cleaning work although it is perfectly manageable for complete novices wishing to do their research prior to committing themselves to this business. Students should be prepared for some “homework” activities after each day of the course.

The course is followed by an optional on-line exam which must be taken within 90-days of the start date of the course. This exam fee is $65 US dollars and is payable by credit or debit card to the IICRC once you have booked your course. Instructions on how and when to book the exam will be sent after reserving your place on the course.

The IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) is a worldwide, American-based standards and education body for the cleaning and restoration industry. A pass in the IICRC CCT exam and the IICRC UFT exam entitle a professional carpet cleaner to apply to the UK’s National Carpet Cleaners Association without further courses and testing.
