The WoolSafe Academy®
The WoolSafe Academy® is the education and training branch of The WoolSafe Organisation. The Academy provides professional training courses (both classroom and online), technical literature, manuals, professional standards and expert advice to all those involved in the manufacture, sales, ownership and maintenance of carpets and rugs.
The WoolSafe Organisation is a cleaning industry service provider, devoted to promoting best practice in carpet and rug care through maintenance product evaluation and certification, education and training, and the promotion of professional cleaning and inspection services.
Established in 1991, the WoolSafe Certification Mark is widely recognised in many parts of the world as the standard for excellence and safety of carpet care chemicals, both for professionals and consumers. It is used by many of the world’s largest cleaning chemical suppliers to identify and promote those carpet care products specifically suitable for use on wool.
WoolSafe provides educational programmes, technical information and advice, and networks of Service Providers and Registered Inspectors in different parts of the world.

Paul is the author and tutor of the Fibre Care Specialist classroom based training course in England and wrote the worldwide Fibre Care Specialist online course. Dr. Agnes Zsednai
Agnes is Managing Director of the WoolSafe Organisation and tutors the Fibre Care Specialist training course. She has a PhD in chemistry and runs the WoolSafe Approved product certification programme.
Dr. Eric Brown
Director of Cleaning Research International and the author and tutor of the Carpet Complaint Investigation Course for inspectors. Eric has also written numerous books. He has been involved in the investigation of carpet complaints since 1975 and has appeared in numerous cases as an Expert Witness.Find out more

Ruth is an IICRC-Certified Master Textile Cleaner and Instructor in Color Repair, Rug Cleaning and Senior Carpet Inspector. With over 17 years experience he is one of the most highly trained practitioners in the industry. Adam is a WoolSafe Certified Trainer who tutors the Fibre Care Specialist Course. He offers training services to some of the major suppliers of products and services in our industry.
